Tuilik

If I'm going to be able to roll the qayaq, I'll need one of these:  a Tuilik.  The Chris Cunningham book, Building the Greenland Kayak, has plans for sewing your own.  There are several companies that make Gore-TeX or neoprene tuiliks, but they are quite expensive.  This should keep the water out, and is roomy enough to wear insulating layers underneath if I start doing cold weather paddling.

Coated nylon tuilik

The pattern is from the Cunningham book.
